Ah, Lori Foster books…you know it’s going to be good, and this one is no exception. I was surprised by the amount of sex in this novel though. And I’m not just talking about sexy times (although there was certainly enough to almost break the heat-meter with a high heat rating). Margo is working on a sex crimes case (which turns around to—forget about biting her—slam her with a car), and then there’s the major romantic foil focusing around Margo’s views of sexuality and being a woman as well as police lieutenant. So, lots of sex. Lots!
In fact there was so much heat between Margo and Dash that I felt like I didn’t get to know anything about them except their sexy ways at the start. The book picks up a few months after Getting Rowdy where we first see Dash and Margo team up together to work on the case. Well, because of the time jump between the two books, we miss out on all the growing sexual tension between them and go straight to two really tight strings about to break.

My Thoughts
Dash Of Peril is the fourth book in the Love Undercover series and quickly drew the reader in with the fast action in the beginning scenes.
Like each of the previous works this story focuses on one particular couple, but it also cameos previous characters allowing a small glimpse into what is currently going on with them to a point.
