Download Download Epub The Israeli Solution: A One-State Plan for Peace in the Middle East from 4shared, mediafire, hotfile, and mirror link A  manifesto that exposes the flaws in the two-state policy of the United States toward Israel and the Palestinians and offers a direct and powerful call for Israeli sovereignty in the region.

The reigning consensus in elite and academic circles is that the United States must seek to resolve the Palestinians' conflict with Israel by implementing the so-called two-state solution. Establishing a Palestinian state, so the thinking goes, would be a panacea for all the region’s ills. It would end the Arab world’s conflict with Israel, because the reason the Arab world is anti-Israel is that there is no Palestinian state. It would also nearly erase the principal cause of the violent extremism in the rest of the Middle East.

In a time when American politics are marked by partisan gridlock, the two-state solution stands out for its ability to attract supporters from both sides of the ideological divide. But the great irony is that it is one of the most irrational and failed policies the United States has ever adopted.

Between 1970 and 2013, the United States presented nine different peace plans for Israel and the Palestinians, and for the past twenty years, the two state solution has been the centerpiece of U.S. Middle East policy. But despite this laser focus, American efforts to implement a two-state peace deal have failed—and with each new attempt, the Middle East has become less stable, more violent, more radicalized, and more inimical to democratic values and interests.

In The Israeli Solution, Caroline Glick, senior contributing editor to the Jerusalem Post, examines the history and misconceptions behind the two-state policy, most notably:

- The huge errors made in counting the actual numbers of Jews and Arabs in the region. The 1997 Palestinian Census, upon which most two-state policy is based, wildly exaggerated the numbers of Palestinians living in the West Bank and Gaza.

- Neglect of the long history of Palestinian anti-Semitism, refusal to negotiate in good faith, terrorism, and denial of Israel’s right to exist.

- Disregard for Israel’s stronger claims to territorial sovereignty under international law, as well as the long history of Jewish presence in the region.

- Indifference to polling data that shows the Palestinian people admire Israeli society and governance. Despite a half-century of domestic and international terrorism, anti-semitism, and military attacks from regional neighbors who reject its right to exist, Israel has thrived as the Middle East’s lone democracy.

After a century spent chasing a two-state policy that hasn’t brought the Israelis and Palestinians any closer to peace, The Israeli Solution offers an alternative path to stability in the Middle East based on Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria. [Note: This book was provided free of charge by WaterBrook Multnomah Press in exchange for an honest review.]

As a well-traveled American of partly Jewish ancestry, the subject of anti-Semitism and the legitimacy of Israel as a nation is a matter that sometimes is a subject of considerable interest and occasional writing and reflection. When I saw this book available for reading and review for one of the publishers whose books I read often, I chose it rapidly, with an eager desire to read it as quickly as possible. Strikingly, I received this book within a couple of days requesting it, getting an uncorrected proof that I had the chance to devour and reflect upon, and although there are a few minor errors that copyediting will fix before this book reaches the general public, this book is well worth the hurry I had in wanting to read it and that the book’s publishers had in wanting to send it. It will richly reward those who read it with an open-mind, and give encouragement as well as instruction to those who are friends of Israel.

This book is organized in a very straightforward way, and it is entirely clear about its goals and its aims and is largely successful in its ambitions at presenting a manifesto for a one-state solution in Israel (with an independent Gaza or one that is incorporated into Egypt). The first part of the book demonstrates that the two-state solution favored by many in the West and by the political leadership of Israel, is a failed idea because it does not take into account the reality of Arab intransigence when it comes to either seeking the best interests of the local population or of any kind of legitimate desire for peace.
This will probably be one of the most important books published in 2014. This book will and should change the foreign policy of the United States fundamentally.

The book discovers the history of denial - denial both by Republican and Democrat administrations of the United States.

Both Republicans and Democrats have denied the historic Jewish roots of the land of Israel including Judea and Samaria, while denying the fact that "Palestinian people" has been invented by Arabs for the sole purpose of expelling Jews from the Middle East and wiping Israel off the map. Both of them have punished Israel for defending itself, while rewarding terrorism on the side of Palestinians with billions of dollars.

The result has been a weakened Israel and turmoil in the Middle East, where a lot of innocent people - Jews and Arabs alike - are killed.

The path towards the "Two State Solution" has been a pure disaster. The fact that we haven't seen "Palestinian State" as of now only proves the self-evident truth that an entity whose only identity is the hatred of the neighboring people cannot make peace with these people, let alone establish a country side by side with them.

Caroline Glick proposes that it is about time for Israel (and the US) to dump "Two State Solution", and instead, pursue "One State Solution", in which Israel applies its sovereignty over Judea and Samaria.

With One State Solution, Israel will be stronger. Stronger Israel brings about peace in the State of Israel and stability in the Middle East. Stronger Israel is in the interest of the United States, too.

It is, indeed, about time the world recognizes the huge denial and see the light of the truth.
